Anthropic has expanded its Cyber Verification Program, offering qualifying cybersecurity professionals access to advanced cyber capabilities and reduced-blocking classifiers. The company says the program builds on Project Glasswing, whose participants verified at least 129,000 software flaws.
The announcement matters because it puts an explicit structure around access to powerful AI capabilities for authorized defensive and offensive-security work. Organizations considering participation should review eligibility, authorization controls, audit requirements, and how model-assisted findings will be validated before remediation.
Security leaders should treat model output as a starting point, not proof. Verify findings in an authorized environment, preserve evidence, prioritize confirmed critical issues, and ensure incident-response teams can act on results.
